Brand’s Origins
Lumberjack was born in 1979 when an enterprising artisan of Verona traveled to North America and was awestruck by the untamed nature of these unique places with endless expanses of wilderness and parks, immense crystalline lakes and marvelous maple forests.
On his return to Italy, he decided to transfer that spirit and aesthetic into a brand inspired by the footwear of the Canadian rangers, the guardians of such beauty, with a double maple leaf as the brand logo.

UrbaNature represents the essence of the brand and the new philosophy, a neologism which expresses the union between nature and the urban environment, simplicity, style, practicality and fashion.
Modern and essential themes like respect for nature and sustainability meet with street and urban fashion trends to create a new point of reference in the footwear and apparel market, destined to become an icon for the new millennium.



Lumberjack Philosophy
Inspired by the vast space in Canada and the world of wood cutting, the Lumberjack Brand became a genuine icon in the 80s in Italy, thanks to the success of its flagship product, the “River” ranger boot.
The connection between nature and practical, simple and functional product is proposed nowadays with a more fashionable approach, destined to define a new style which interprets the traditional and original values in a modern and contemporary way.
